Quality & Certifications — Lab-Tested Himalayan Salt
Quality at Al Goher Trader is not a slogan; it is a document trail. Every stage from the mine face to the container is controlled in our own facility, and every claim we make is backed by an independent certificate you can inspect before you order.
Certifications We Hold
- Halal certification (Halal CB, PS 3733:2019) covering the full edible line.
- Kosher certification (GITCHIA, IDA-342:2020).
- ISO 9001:2015 quality management for factory operations.
- Phytosanitary certificates and certificates of origin issued with every export shipment.
Independent Laboratory Testing
Food-grade lots are analyzed by the National Metrology Institute of Pakistan and the National Physical and Standards Laboratory. Published reports show 98–99% sodium chloride, heavy metals not detectable, and zero pathogenic contamination — fit for human consumption under CODEX guidelines. Reports ship with every food-grade order, and samples with lab reports are available to serious buyers before commitment.
Quality Control on the Floor
Each crystal is graded by color and clarity at the seam, weighed into honest weight bands, checked with calipers for dimension-critical products like tiles and bricks, and packed to survive sea freight. In thirty-plus years we have cleared customs in more than fifty countries — tell us your destination and we prepare compliant labeling, documentation, and any additional testing your regulator requires. See how this works in practice at the factory or in our export guide.
From the Warcha Salt Mines
Everything we ship is hand-mined from 250-million-year-old deposits at the Warcha Salt Mines in Khushab District, Punjab, Pakistan, and processed at our own Hamdani Salt Factory — the family business behind Al Goher Trader since 1990. Factory-direct means one seam, one factory, documented lots, and lab reports drawn from the actual shipment. Learn more about us, our quality and certifications, and sustainable mining.
